Parkades vs Parking Garages

To all you Canadians:
Did you know that in the USofA they call 
Parkades,
Parking Garages?

I didn't know that either until I moved here. 

To all you Americans:
Did you know that in Canada they call 
Parking Garages,
Parkades?

Go figure.

I went and took pictures in a Parkade for my photography class. I got down and dirty. Literally. I was down on the ground and got all dirty. 

Now I have to pick a picture that I like better.
I've narrowed it down to these two:

    The second one makes me feel like you have gone over the abyss (wide upward span of white) and you are 'pondering' the direction you are going to go (or if you are going to go). I like the feeling of 'narrowingness' in the end. 'my two bits worth' AK.....

    Parkades are so much cooler. Just like garborators. I like both of them, but I do really like the second one!

So this one time I applied to the Media Arts program at BYU. I remember it like it was a reminisce. I procrastinated a little too much and stressed a little too much, but I managed to finish printing all my papers and everything for it the morning of right before it was time to leave. I'm pretty impressive, I know. Don't ask how i magically managed that, but it happened. I sighed a sigh of relief when I handed my 4 manila (they HAD to be manila, any other color is blasphemy) folders with my DVDs featuring this  to the lady at the desk. .2014.

In terms of how years go, 2014 has been pretty rad. It's been a good  great year. It's been busy, fun, hard, exciting, scary, enlightening, beautiful, happy... It's been great. I love school. It's not always easy, but I get to create. I get to use my imagination. I'm so happy.  Watch that video. I love it. This man is wise.  Anyways I get to take a photography class and the assignments have been fun. These are the ones I've turned in so far: Zion's National Park Idaho Harold B Lee Library These are just a taste of the adventures I've have thus far this year. And it's barely February. I think it's looking out to be a fun year, and I couldn't be more stoked.

Decently, Recently

And so it begins. A new semester that is. I have been busy with my classes, new things all about... and then Statistics (hello pure math 20). I am so glad that I have one class that isn't 100% new facts to memorize. I am in a Japanese class, let me tell you... that is hard work. I think the only phrase I actually know is, "wakarimasen," and I get A LOT of use out of that. (It means I don't understand). I am in American Heritage... I'm not American. I am in an international student section, which is rad, but I think all the kids from the other countries just hink Canadians talk a lot, because there is this one girl who just won't stop. Okay, Chatty Cathy, put a lock on it. She's nice though. I am also in a nutrition class with 2 girls from my stake back home, which is RAD! I've been able to spend time with lots of Canadians, which I love. There's nothing like making some chesterfield, garborator, washroom jokes with some people who speak your lan...
