Tone it Down

Image
I realized I haven't written about how lovely my life is. Well many aspects of it are lovely. Brilliant. Hilarious. Beautiful. Fun. Funny. Happy. Great. These many aspects are basically my roommates. They are the best and we have the best of times together. We like all the same things- boys, dancing, music, clothes, singing like Miranda . Sometimes I think we are the same person. They are seriously angels. More often than not, I will come home and a delicious roast will be made for dinner. Sometimes I come home and my bed has been made by the touch of an angel. I seriously have no idea how I've been so blessed. They are my best friends. They love people, they care about people. They are so kind, generous and thoughtful. They are the greatest examples to me and I am so grateful that I get to live with them. Also just take a second and appreciate their beauty. You don't find 3 roommates like this every dynasty.

Lest We Forget

Image
As Remembrance Day gets closer I am mostly just remembering one of the greatest men to walk this earth - Grandpa Joe. I love that man, and I miss him everyday. I wear flannel shirts, it's as close to a big hug from him that I can get. Alana got me an little orchid and it reminds me of Grandpa. I go to Smiths and just look at the orchids and think of which one Grandpa would like the best. I miss that man. I was looking through some pictures I took at the funeral and I was reminded of what love looks like. I will never forget my grandpa. He is always with me. This is Love. True Love.

I Love To See The Temple

Tonight I am counting my blessing. I got lost, listening to music and making this, got lost in time that is. Triangles are Jenelle's favorite. Hawaii is Jenelle's favorite. Jenelle's my favorite. This one is for you Jenelle.  #1 I am so grateful for our Saviour #2 Because of #1 I get to be with my family  ~ forever ~ #3 Temples are everywhere so that I can go there and have my very own family that can be together ~ forever ~ I'm so glad I know these things. I'm so grateful for the knowledge that no matter what, no matter where this life takes us, we will all be together ~ forever ~ There's nothing that could make me happier, and that's exactly what our Heavenly Father wants. There's nothing that could make Him happier. It's been a month. A month since we said goodbye to my grandpa's body. His body~not his spirit. I know that he's busy, just like he's always been. I know we miss him, but there's a lot of people he m

Once Upon a December

Image
Okay, it was actually February- not December- February 17, 2009 to be exact. I just wrote that because they sing that in Anastasia (good flick) when they reminisce. Anyways. Today I had a moment, "it was like a reminisce"(Daxflame). I was looking back at notes on the Facebook. Remember those? Yeah i didn't either. But then I remember, "Hey, I wrote those sometimes!" I usually didn't publish them or let anyone else set eyes on them. But today my one blog follower is in for a real treat. An unpublished note, that will be published, right here, right now. Actually not Right now. I will just give a little background of why I'm finally publishing it after 4.5 years. Today has been rough. Second day of school, feeling overwhelmed and lonely. Mostly missing my family and the really nice big rug in front of the fireplace. Just wanting to be at home. Feeling sorry for myself. It just hasn't been an easy few weeks. Then I found my note. At first I was wonder

con GRAD ulations (so cliche). This one goes out to my favorite little sister and my very best friend that makes me food and makes sure I eat healthy and exercise. She takes very good care of me. She will make someone very happy one day, and when that day comes I will be happy for her but very sad at the same time, unless we live together, or at least if we are neighbors. Never leave me Jen-L the Reb-L! So last Thursday was the big day. Alana so graciously brought her accessories, and we found some killer shoes, that we made even better with some gold leaf. Seriously so cool. We got up bright and early to go to the Stampede grounds for her ceremony. It was busy busy, and very multicultural. 648 students is a lot of kids to watch walk across a stage. And then the real fun began... We were leaving and I had the brilliant idea of getting Vietnamese Subs. I LOVE THOSE THINGS!!! and we got them at the best place by the river.  We Love those babies Then it was time to ru

I am The Worst

The worst blog mom ever that is. If this blog was a Neopet, it would be past famished right on to nearly dead (if you don't know Neopets, then think Tamagotchi... if you don't know Tamagotchi, I will just shed a tear at the lack of childhood you experienced). I guess it's time to feed this baby. But currently I don't have much sustenance. But I will give you a picture, everyone loves pictures.  Once I went to Hawaii for the weekend More food to come, hopefully soon

Decently, Recently

And so it begins. A new semester that is. I have been busy with my classes, new things all about... and then Statistics (hello pure math 20). I am so glad that I have one class that isn't 100% new facts to memorize. I am in a Japanese class, let me tell you... that is hard work. I think the only phrase I actually know is, "wakarimasen," and I get A LOT of use out of that. (It means I don't understand). I am in American Heritage... I'm not American. I am in an international student section, which is rad, but I think all the kids from the other countries just hink Canadians talk a lot, because there is this one girl who just won't stop. Okay, Chatty Cathy, put a lock on it. She's nice though. I am also in a nutrition class with 2 girls from my stake back home, which is RAD! I've been able to spend time with lots of Canadians, which I love. There's nothing like making some chesterfield, garborator, washroom jokes with some people who speak your lan

....Aaaand We're Back

It's been a long time blog, a VERY long time. A lot has happened, but now that I think about not really that much, considering how much time has elapse since I last wrote anything on here. So here's what has happened: -I finished my first semester at BYU. I basically just studied for days- I literally spend days in the library until the wee hours of the morning. It was too much time... but it paid off, thankfully.  - I went home for the most wonderful 3 weeks ever. I showed up a day earlier than my parents expected me to. We got to go to Grandma Anderson's birthday party. Jenelle and I got to have fun with these kids. Seriously some of the cutest, funnest kids around.  We built this tower. The children loved it. Me too.  Emmett wearing his chaps. He was practicing roping chairs. I don't know. We made gingerbread houses.  I snapchatted with this little Stunna.  And this guy was too cute. I got to run in the ravine, and I made
